NetHawk Receives New LTE EPC Test System Orders in North America
nethawk has announced the receipt of significant test system orders for LTE EPC (Evolved Packet Core) testing from a major North American telecom infrastructure vendor. The orders include the nethawk EAST LTE Load Test Simulation platform for the S-GW (Serving Gateway) testing with multi-user functionality. The delivered system will be actively used by 25 simultaneous users with the future option to upgrade the system to 50 simultaneous users and beyond. more

The Finnish manufacturer of 3G Testing Tools nethawk has released a new, solution for NodeB site acceptance. The nethawk 3G Installation Tool initializes the NodeB, carries out test sequences including BER tests and makes real Layer 3 Calls. There is no need for leased lines because it emulates the RNC and tests each NodeB without interfering the live network. The printout of the test protocol serves as a receipt for a successful site acceptance.
