Telmap Develops "Thin-Client" Navigation Application for the iPhone
Navigation services provider, Telmap has joined with navteq to develop a mobile search, mapping and navigation application for Apple's iPhone. The first two launches of this solution are the MapQuest Navigator that was announced on October 7, 2009, and Orange Maps in France that was announced on October 19, 2009, with more launches expected to be announced across the globe by leading tier 1 operators. more

Moody's changes outlook for Nokia' A1 rating to negative
Moody's has changed its outlook on Nokia's ratings to negative, from stable - although it affirmed the A1 ratings for Nokia's senior debt and the Prime-1 for short-term debt. The outlook change was triggered by Nokia's results for the first quarter 2009, which confirmed a double-digit rate of decline for the mobile phone market in units and a one third year over year revenue reduction for Nokia in this segment and it disclosed increasing earnings pressure in the Nokia Siemens Networks business. more
