Austria Gets Europe's First HSPA+ Mobile Data Network
Telekom Austria's mobile subsidiary, mobilkom austria, has become the first operator in Europe to launch HSPA+ services - offering a potential mobile data download speed of 21 Mbps. One Bidder for Serbian GSM License
The Serbian Republic Telecommunications Agency (RATEL) has opened the bidding documents for the country's third GSM/3G license, and only found Mobilkom Austria had submitted a tender. Two operators already in the country, Serbia's state-run mts Mobile Telecom and Norway's Telenor, were banned from taking part in the tender. more
