Six Year Jail Sentence for Stealing Two Mobile Phones
A court in Ghana has sentenced a 19-year old to six years in jail for stealing two mobile phones, plus some cash from a taxi driver. Julius Atumba was the neighbour of the taxi driver, Hamza Ali and was reported to have broken into his house while he was attending the funeral of his father. more

Russian Police Arrest Phone Retail Staff over Smuggling Allegations
Russia's dominant mobile phone retailer, Euroset says that it will vigorously defend allegations of phone smuggling and an alleged kidnapping by one of its employees. Investigators at the Russian Prosecutor General's Office detained two suspects, both apparently employees of the company. more
