Huawei Wins Managed Services Deal in Saudi Arabia
Huawei announced today that it has been selected by Saudi Arabia's mobily as its managed services partner under a three-year multi-vendor agreement. Under the agreement, Huawei will be responsible for network operations, back office, field operations, network optimization and spare parts management. Additionally, Huawei will be maintaining multi-vendor telecom equipment and acting on behalf of mobily to manage multi-vendor spare parts and 3rd level support. more

In both periods, the market grew by 8.0%, but while this implied fewer than 5 million new connections in 2003, in 2007, it meant 24 million.
