Norway based Rubberduck Media has that it has launched a mobile TV and video service for Telefonica O2 Ireland. Under the terms of the agreement, Rubberduck Media Lab is providing a completely outsourced mobile TV service to Telefonica O2 Ireland including content acquisition and provision as well as technical support and management. more

Several major telecoms firms have jointly announced their support for a Mobile TV implementation profile developed within the Broadcast Mobile Convergence Forum (bmcoforum). The profile simplifies the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Mobile Broadcast Services Enabler Suite (BCAST) specification for fast implementations ensuring interoperability and future proofing further developments. more
