GSMA Endorses 3GPP's Integrated Mobile Broadcast Standard
The GSM Association says that it has endorsed a new 3GPP standard, Integrated Mobile Broadcast (IMB), which should enable spectrally-efficient delivery of broadcast services, based on techniques that are aligned with existing FDD WCDMA but also allowing deployment in TDD spectrum.
