Ericsson to Expand Zain Madagascar network

Ericsson has signed a contract with the Zain Group to expand the core network and the GSM radio access network for Zain Madagascar. The expansion of Zain Madagascar's network, which has been operational since 2005, is centered upon deploying Ericsson's Packet Core Network, including both SGSN and GGSN nodes, and Ericsson's Mobile Softswitch Solution.  more

Nokia Siemens Wins Thai GSM Contract

Ericsson Wins Malaysian GSM Contract

Malaysia's Celcom has awarded a contract to Ericsson to expand, modernize and upgrade its GSM network to a new architecture. Covering the northern, eastern and central regions of the Malaysian peninsula, the project will be implemented over 12 months, beginning in early July. Ericsson will provide a comprehensive portfolio of telecommunication equipment and services, including deployment and integration of radio access network equipment, as well as switching capacity and software upgrades. more
