Study Finds Disconnect Between Smartphone Adoption and Ability to Manage Mobile Devices
The mobile device automation vendor, Zenprise has published the findings of an Osterman Research study which found that most enterprise IT departments are not equipped to handle the rapid increase in smartphone adoption. TynTec Working on Mobile Phone Based Airline Boarding Passes
Mobile messaging operator TynTec has announced a partnership with airline industry body IATA, which will see TynTec working with IATA on the Bar Coded Boarding Passes (BCBP) initiative. This will be aimed at working with airlines and their IT providers to expand the availability of mobile boarding passes as well as improving airline operations through real-time ticket status. more
