mBlox delivered 2.5 billion SMS mobile transactions in 2008

Mobile billing supplier, mBlox has announced that it successfully delivered over 2.5 billion application-to-person transactions in 2008, a growth of 30% year-on-year. mBlox cleared and settled for its customers, premium transactions with a retail value of approximately $500m, a strong result despite significant devaluation in major European currencies.  more

Skype Offers SMS Sending

The UK based mobile messaging firm, mBlox says it has been selected by Skype to help power its new Skype SMS service. By connecting to mBlox's mobile message delivery platform, Skype SMS lets people send text messages from their computer to mobile phones across the world. Skype has rolled out the offering to nearly 200 countries worldwide. more
