Fun Text Goes Live On 3 UK Handsets
Graphical messaging firm, Fun Text says that it has secured a deal with Hutchison 3G UK (3) for its handset-based messaging application to be installed on a range of 3's mobile phones. Under the deal, 3UK customers will be able to access Fun Text's rich media messaging capabilities direct from the messaging menu of their phone, alongside traditional alternatives such as SMS and MMS. more

Hutchison Taps NeuStar for Yahoo! Mobile IM Service
NeuStar says that it has provided Hutchison 3G UK with the necessary software to bring Yahoo! Messenger instant messaging (IM) service to 3's mobile customers in the UK. 3 chose NeuStar's Mobile Messaging Gateway solution to implement the roll out of Yahoo! Messenger across its subscriber base. more

Hutchison 3G Italy has selected NeuStar's Next Generation Messaging Services for mobile instant messaging (IM) in Italy. NeuStar's IMSC (IM Service Centre) and MMG (Mobile Messaging Gateway) will allow 3 Italia subscribers to see whether their Windows Live Messenger and 3 Italia IM "buddies" are online, and to communicate with them in real time. more
