Study Finds Disconnect Between Smartphone Adoption and Ability to Manage Mobile Devices

TynTec Working on Mobile Phone Based Airline Boarding Passes

mBlox delivered 2.5 billion SMS mobile transactions in 2008

Mobile billing supplier, mBlox has announced that it successfully delivered over 2.5 billion application-to-person transactions in 2008, a growth of 30% year-on-year. mBlox cleared and settled for its customers, premium transactions with a retail value of approximately $500m, a strong result despite significant devaluation in major European currencies.  more

VeriSign Sells Part of European Mobile Messaging Unit

A part of VeriSign's mobile messaging business in Europe, which was formerly derived in 2006 from the acquisition of Austrian company 3united, is once again, in the ownership of Austrian hands. The new owner is Sinon Invest Holding, and the new name of the company, which specialises in mobile messaging and focuses primarily on the development and delivery of interactive mobile applications, will be mobile messaging solutions (mms).  more
