Hike in telecom capex expected in 2H09, though overall capex still down in 2009
Market research firm Infonetics Research has reported that global service provider capex (capital expenditures) hit a plateau at $298 billion in 2008, marking the end of a five-year investment cycle. Magid Associates, 51 percent of mobile phone users access internet based content using their mobile phone on a weekly basis.
