AdMob Sees Rising Apple Device Traffic from Western Europe/Asia

Mobile advertising agency, AdMob has reported that while North America leads with 58 percent of iPhone and iPod touch users, Western Europe and Asia have increasingly become popular geographic regions, representing 26 and seven percent of Apple device users, respectively. The worldwide ratio of iPhone to iPod touch users in the AdMob network was roughly two to one in June; although this varied from region to region, this ratio has remained relatively constant over the last several months, implying a similar growth rate for both devices worldwide.  more

Openwave Systems has published a report highlighting key mobile internet usage trends in North America, based on findings derived from its Mobile Analytics product. High Use of Mobile Phones at Home for Mobile Internet Browsing

Orange has published the results of a survey commissioned to reveal the role of mobile media usage within the broader media landscape. The report, Exposure 2 consists of independent qualitative and quantitative research, following a survey of more than 2,000 mobile media users from across all UK mobile networks. The survey focuses on consumer consumption of mobile media, and attitudes towards it when used as a marketing channel - particularly in comparison to other traditional and digital media.  more

Madhouse Served Over 5.6 Billion Targeted Mobile Ad Impressions in 2008

Chinese mobile advertising agency, Madhouse says that it served 5.6 mobile ad impressions using its MadServing system in 2008, which is 12 times the total impressions Madhouse served in 2007. German 3G Penetration Rate to Reach 60% by 2012
