Mobile Gambling on the Rise Despite Economic Downturn
In stark contrast to much of the entertainment and leisure sector, gambling via mobile phones will perform strongly in 2009, led by the UK market, according to research just released. Mobile software retailer, Handango has announced a deal to distribute mobile games from the mobile division of Electronic Arts. The EA mobile titles including Madden NFL 08, The Sims 2, The Sims Bowling, MONOPOLY Here & Now, TETRIS, Bejeweled, and many more, are now available on leading smartphone platforms including Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian UIQ through Handango's web properties and Handango's on-device client, InHand. more
