Sierra Wireless has launched its first mobile broadband USB modems for HSPA+ networks. The new modems nearly triple the speed of other mobile broadband devices, with peak download speeds of 21Mbps. Huawei has unveiled a new portfolio of mobile broadband solutions that are Windows 7 compatible. The centrepiece among this new suite of solutions is a notebook-embedded 3G module that supports Microsoft Windows 7 - Huawei's EM770. The EM770 3G module delivers uplink speeds of 5.76Mbps and it has already been integrated into notebooks manufactured by ASUSTek Computer and Elitegroup Computer Systems. more
