Majority of Brazilian Ad Agencies Working with Mobile Campaigns

­According to a survey commissioned by the Mobile Marketing Association, 62% of the advertising agencies in Brazil stated they launched mobile marketing actions in 2010, and for 2011 this is expected to grow up to 87%. 29% of European mobile consumers respond to mobile adverts they see

Research, commissioned by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) shows that, on average, 45% of European consumers noticed mobile advertising and of these, 29% responded to it. The research also showed that once people have responded to a mobile advert over a third (39%) continued on to make a purchase.  more

U.S. Consumers More Likely to Respond to Location-Based Mobile Adverts

Nearly one in four U.S. adult consumers uses mobile location services, with usage highest among Apple iPhone owners, according to a survey commissioned by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). Conducted in mid-March, the new survey found that 91 percent of respondents have a cell phone and that 26 percent of that group has used a "map, navigation or some other mobile phone service that automatically determines your current location."  more

Wireless advertising groups merge

The Wireless Advertising Association (WAA) and the Wireless Marketing Association (WMA) are merging to create the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA). The two leading bodies in mobile marketing and advertising standards have formed the new organisation to consolidate efforts and resources in their goal to develop mobile advertising regulations. more
