ASUS Shows off World's Fastest Smartphone

The 800 MHz processor is significantly more powerful than the average 500 MHz which are usually shipped in handsets - and will make the phone menu and functions more responsive. Low-price Mini Notebook PC Shipments to Reach 8.02 Mln Units in 2008
According to MIC (Market Intelligence Center, Taiwan), an ICT industry research institute based in Taipei, worldwide low-price mini notebook PC shipment is expected to reach 8.02 million units in 2008. In 2009 shipment volume is forecasted to reach a scale of 18.3 million units, growing 128% annually. more

Vodafone Portugal has teamed up with Taiwan's Asus to offer a bundled HSDPA USB modem with Asus's iconic mini-laptop, the EeePC 701. Among telecommunications operators in Portugal, this PC will be sold exclusively by Vodafone. more
