Taiwan Mobile Phone Sales to Reach 7.2 Million Units in 2008

According to mic (Market Intelligence Center, Taiwan), an ICT industry research institute based in Taipei, mobile data services will be a key focus for Taiwanese telecom operators in 2008, with the growing popularity of 3G/3.5G mobile phones. High-end, Value-line Models Driving Taiwan's Smartphone Shipments

According to Taiwan based, mic (Market Intelligence Center) the shipment volume of the Taiwanese smart cellular device (including Smartphones and PDA phones) industry is forecasted to reach approximately 6.6 million and 8.4 million units respectively in the second and third quarters of 2008.
