Sai Subramanian, director of marketing for the broadband wireless business unit of Cisco, will serve as Cisco’s representative on the WiMAX Forum board. Russian Operator Charged Over Unauthorised Coverage in Georgia
Russia's Megafon has lost a court appeal in Georgia's Tbilisi City Court over allegations that the mobile network had been operating a mobile network inside Georgia without a license. The telecoms regulator, the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) has imposed a fine of US$360,000 on the company, for allegedly expanding their operations before, during, and after the Russian invasion in August. more
