60 percent of WCDMA handsets will be GPS/Galileo enabled by 2010
A new research report from the wireless analyst firm Berg Insight forecasts that 60% of WCDMA handset shipped worldwide will have integrated GPS/Galileo receivers by 2010. Satellite positioning technology enables delivery of location based services such as personal navigation on mobile phones.
