LG Electronics has shown off its first Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone that has been integrated with LG's 3D S-Class User Interface. Built-around a 3D cube layout, the S-Class UI eliminates nested menus wherever possible, providing more direct access to features and applications. LG Electronics, Intel Collaborate on Future Mobile Internet Device

LG Electronics and Intel have announced a collaboration around mobile Internet devices (MIDs) based on Intel's MID hardware platform, codenamed "Moorestown," and Linux-based Moblin v2.0 software platform. The LG device is expected to be one of the first Moorestown designs to market.  more
