Rwandatel Misses Subscriber Growth Target
Rwandan mobile operator, Rwandatel says that it missed its subscriber target for the first half of this year by 30%, but said that its market share had risen by 15%. Two New GSM Operators Licensed in Sierra Leone
Sierra Leone is to get two new GSM operators after the telecoms regulator, Natcom approved Israel based Cellcom and Lybian backed LapGreen Networks for services. Regulator Executive Secretary, Bashir M. Kamara told local media that the companies had been approved and will launch their services shortly. more
