Survey Finds: 17% of Shoppers Spent Over $100 on Mobile Apps in 2008

A survey of 235 US smartphone users who installed applications on their devices in 2008, conducted by ABI Research in November, reveals that a surprising 16.5% spent between $100 and $499. That level of spending is especially significant given the low cost of most mobile applications, ranging from as little as a dollar or two at Apple's iPhone App Store, to at most about $25.  more

iPhone in China: China Mobile or China Unicom?

Dual-Mode Cellular/Wi-Fi Handset Shipments to Double from 2008 Through 2010

Shipments of Wi-Fi-enabled cellular handsets will double in volume by the end of 2010, compared to January 2008, and that growth curve is expected to continue through 2013. Napster Inks Mobile Music Deal with AT&T Wireless
