Telia predicts SMS record on Christmas Eve
Using the phone to wish people a Merry Christmas is becoming more and more popular in Sweden. One-third of the 10,000 people who responded to Telia's annual Christmas survey stated that they would prefer to call, or send an SMS or MMS message, to convey their Christmas greetings. Telia is predicting that the Swedish people will set a record for SMS messages this year during the 24-hour Christmas Eve period. more

Top Ten Phone Sales in Telia Stores in August 2006
In August, a 3G mobile phone topped Telia's list of best-selling mobile handsets for the first time ever when the Sony Ericsson K800i jumped from sixth to first place. The Top Ten List featured yet another new 3G product with the debut of a PC card from Huawei, which is used by Telia Wireless Broadband customers to connect their portable computers to the mobile network. more

The 3G phones are the Nokia 6280, which directly entered the list in fifth place, and the Samsung Z140.
