Samsung ships CDMA infrastructure to Australia

Samsung Electronics has signed a contract with the Australian Hutchison Telecom network to provide CDMA infrastructure capable of supporting 50,000 subscribers. The additional capacity will be made available in the Sydney and Melbourne areas, and boosts Samsung's supply to the network to 200,000 lines, from the existing 150,000 capacity it has already supplied in a previous US$220 million contract. The value of the current contract was not disclosed." more
