Huawei Wins Czech 3G and GSM Network Contract
Telefónica O2 Czech Republic says that it has awarded a contract to huawei
to provide UMTS network infrastructure and modernization of its 2G network to
include an EDGE upgrade. No financial details were provided.

Huawei Deploys 8,000 Base Stations in Germany
China's huawei is understood to have secured an undisclosed contract to install some 8,000 base stations in Southern Germany. An insider from huawei confirmed the news to the SinoCast news agency, but the two companies have not released any information about the matter. more
