Huawei Upgrades Vodafone's Greek Network

­Vodafone Greece has announced the launch of a hspa+ upgrade to its network, offering a theoretical peak download rate of 28.8Mbps and upload rate of up to 5.8Mbps. According to independent trials conducted in active network conditions, the maximum peak download speeds recorded at end-user application level are in the range of 22 Mbps. Typical user speeds will vary based on local network conditions.  more

StarHub Launches HSPA+ Upgrade

Singapore's StarHub has announced that it will launch a commercial hspa+ service from tomorrow (16th July) - with devices provided by Huawei. Branded as MaxMobile Elite, StarHub's hspa+ service offers peak download speeds up to 21Mbps nationwide. The upgrade was actually completed in March, and offered to trial users.  more
