Zain Saudi Arabia Passes 2 Million Subscriber Mark

Telekom Austria Selects Radcom's Service Assurance Solution
Radcom says that Telekom Austria has selected its Omni-Q solution to monitor and troubleshoot their national GRX network service. The GRX (GPRS Roaming Exchange) is used to transmit data roaming and interworking traffic between IP networks of gsm mobile operators, allowing their subscribers to use home network mobile data services abroad. more

Belgacom ICS Certified as GSMA Compliant Roaming Hub
Belgium based, Belgacom ICS has announced the successful completion of the self-certification process of its Open Connectivity Roaming Hub. With the Open Connectivity (OC) Initiative, the gsmA is looking for new ways to set up Interconnection and Roaming relationships between mobile operators through a hub as an alternative to implementing one-to-one roaming relationships across the world's gsm networks. This follows the existing achievements of the Open Connectivity SMS Interworking Hub for which Belgacom ICS was the first to be certified. more

APA-Kigali (Rwanda) RwandaĆ's oldest telecommunication operator, Rwandatel, Friday launched the Global System for Mobile Communications (gsm) and 3G network for its mobile telephone, replacing its CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) platform, as it prepares for a cut-throat competition with MTN Rwanda, its main challenger. more
