Indian operator, BSNL says that it will begin improving its GSM network coverage along the border with Bangladesh following regular complaints about service quality. Grameenphone Pays Compensation for Lost International Call Revenues
Bangladesh's grameenphone says that it has agreed to make a one-time payment of BDT 1,684 million (US$25.2 million) to the Government as compensation for revenues lost due to the use of grameenphone subscriptions by some customers to illegally transfer international calls. International call termination to Bangladesh is a licensed service and is currently provided only by the state-owned landline telephone operator BTTB. more
