Globul Doubles Mobile Date Download Speed
Bulgarian mobile operator, globul is to be the first operator in the country to offer mobile download speeds of 14.4 mbps in its 3G network via a HSPA upgrade. Bulgaria Cancels GSM License Tender
Bulgaria's telecoms regulator, the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) has decided to annul the process for awarding the country's fourth GSM license after the sole bidder failed to submit their paperwork in time. Although twelve companies initially indicated an interest in the license and eight brought the tender documents, only one company - Liechtenstein based TelCo actually submitted a tender. more

Two Bulgarian Operators Ready for Mobile Number Portability
Blugaria's globul says that it is ready to implement mobile number portability on September 20th, this year. This was declared to tlecoms regulator, the CRC at a meeting last week where representatives from globul and vivatel presented the results from the successful tests for number portability between the two networks. more
