Huawei Aims to Double Mobile Phone Production

China's Huawei is aiming to double its handset production as it seeks to overtake local rival, ZTE - currently China's largest single mobile phone manufacturer. Foxconn Reported to Have Won 3G iPhone Contract

foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), which currently manufactures the Apple iPhone is reported to have secured an order for the long expected 3G model. The Taiwan based DigiTimes, citing the Chinese language, Commercial Times newspaper says that the company has been instructed by Apple to prepare for production to start by the end of May.  more
