Cingular expands network and rolls out GPRS

Cingular Wireless has said that it is to expand its GPRS service to major markets throughout the USA during 2002, including the nation's number one market -- New York. In addition to New York, Cingular will launch California by the end of the second quarter and St. Louis, Detroit, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Orlando, Melbourne, and Daytona, florida by year's end. more
