Ericsson Boosts Rural Telecoms in Africa
Ericsson says that it is preparing to provide basic mobile communications to rural villages in Africa, via the Millennium Villages project. Through a partnership with The Earth Institute at Columbia University, the company bring mobile communication and the Internet to approximately 400,000 people in 10 African countries where the project is working. more
