NextWave is still contesting in a separate court action that the FCC's action in confiscating the spectrum licenses was unlawful. It had hoped to delay the auction until the legality of the decision to revoke the licenses had been settled. The spectrum auction is now scheduled to go ahead on 12th December 2000." more
