Worldwide mobile device sales to end users totaled 1.6 billion units in 2010, a 31.8 percent increase from 2009, according to Gartner. Smartphone sales to end users were up 72.1 percent from 2009 and accounted for 19 percent of total mobile communications device sales in 2010. more

Nav N Go Renews Global Agreement with Map and Content Provider Tele Atlas
Digital maps provider, Tele Atlas says that it has extended its supply agreement with navigation services provider, Nav N Go. The agreement marks an extension of the companies' longstanding collaboration, which began in 2004 and has seen Tele Atlas power a wide range of Nav N Go navigation solutions for PNDs, smartphones and built-in car navigation systems. more
