Slower Replacement Cycle to Shrink Taiwan's Mobile Phone Market in 2009

Taiwan's mobile phone market is forecast to shrink by 9.3% to around 6.4 million units. The Taipei-based Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute (MIC) puts the shrinkage down to slower handset replacements due to the economic downturn.
