The UAE based telco, du has revealed its plans to strengthen strategic relations with Cisco, by exploring the use of the Cisco-enabled Virtual Service Provider (VSP) model. UAE Operator On Track for Launch

The UAE's new entrant mobile phone operator, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications (trading as du), has reported a net pre-operating cost of AED132.25 (US$36) million for the period from December 28, 2005 to June 30, 2006. du's Chairman Ahmed Bin Byat stated that investments were in line with projections and that du continued to be on track for its upcoming launch. more
