DoCoMo 3rd-Quarter Profits Jump 48%
Japan's docomo has reported a 48% rise in its third-quarter fiscal profits, boosted by the expiry of one-off write downs last year. Net income rose to 134.6 billion yen (US$1.5 billion) for the three months to 31st Dec 2009. Operating profit rose 28 percent to 217.4 billion yen in the quarter, although revenue declined 1.3 percent to 1.097 trillion yen (US$12 billion). more
