Deutsche Telekom Profits Jump as Costs Fall
Deutsche Telekom has reported a 76.4 percent jump in its second-quarter profits, although that was boosted by one-off costs a year ago that no longer apply. Deutsche Telekom Quarterly Profits Rise by 8 Percent
Deutsche Telekom has reported a solid 8 percent rise in its third-quarter profits to EUR1.04 billion (US$1.46 billion), while revenues declined 4.1 percent to EUR 15.6 billion (US$21.9 billion). Excluding the effects of the merger of T-Mobile UK with Orange UK, profits rose by 22 percent, while revenues rose by 1 percent. more
