RCom Asked to Clarify Kashmir Network Launch Details
India's Department of Telecom (DoT) has questioned Reliance Communications (RCom) as to why the network has launched a GSM network in Jammu and Kashmir without clearance from the security services. Hutchison Essar Planning US$2 Billion Network Tender
India's Hutchison Essar is reported to be pressing ahead with a tender for GSM equipment which could be worth as much as US$2 billion.
