More Delays to India's 3G License Auction
There has been a further delay to India's already oft-delayed 3G license auction, after the Indian Cabinet decided to refer the issue to a Group of Ministers (GoM) to adjudicate on. India Announces 3G License Auction Plans
The Indian government has finally outlined the details for its forthcoming 3G license allocations in a move which could see up to ten 3G operators in the country. India's BSNL Allocated Additional Radio Spectrum
India's Department of Telecom is reported to have granted BSNL additional radio spectrum in 17 of its licensed circles for use with 2G services. After this change, BSNL will have 10 Mhz spectrum each in 16 circles, while in West Bengal it has around 8.8 Mhz. more

Indian Operators Get Warning Over Coverage Breaches
India's Department of Telecom (DoT) has issued warnings to several operators who are reported to be breaching restrictions on providing cellular coverage too close to India's international borders. The four operators, Bharti Airtel, Hutch, Reliance and BSNL have been found to have coverage along the 'no service zones' which extend 500 meters along the border. more
