Tunisian Operator Upgrades GPRS Core Network
Tunisian mobile operator, Tunisiana has modernized its GPRS core network following an upgrade contract which was awarded to Nokia Siemens Networks. The company installed its Flexi ISN, which performs GPRS Gateway Service Node (GGSN) and data charging functionalities, and is fully integrated with the existing Nokia Siemens Networks charge@once prepaid solution to enable flexible charging of data services. more

Nokia Wins Chinese GPRS Contract
Nokia has signed a GPRS packet core network expansion contract with China's Guangdong Mobile. Under the contract, Nokia will supply Guangdong MCC with its complete Nokia GPRS packet core solution, consisting of Nokia Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN), Nokia Flexi Intelligent Service Node, and the Nokia Charging Gateway. more
