CDMA-450 Network Launch in Ukraine

MTS Ukraine (formerly Ukrainian Mobile Communications, UMC) has launched its wireless broadband network using CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Revision A (Rev. A) equipment supplied by Alcatel-Lucent. The new network is deployed in the 450 MHz spectrum band.  more

3G for Trinidad

Trinidad and Tobago's telecoms operator, TSTT has announced plans to launch a broadband wireless network in Trinidad and Tobago using solutions from Nortel. TSTT plans to offer 3G mobile broadband services to both residential and commercial customers using Nortel CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO wireless technology. Nortel is TSTT's sole supplier for wireless infrastructure equipment. more
