Convergys Wins 3G Billing Contract
convergys Corp. says that it has signed a 5-year professional services outsourcing contract with Taiwan's VIBO Telecom, to manage the 3G operators back office operations. Under this new contract, convergys will continue to manage all aspects of VIBO's customer care and billing systems, extending a contract first signed in 2005. As part of the 2005 agreement, convergys implemented and integrated its Infinys rating and billing and mediation software with VIBO's third party CRM, activation, provisioning, and partner management platforms. more

ESPN continues its development of ESPN Mobile, the recently announced U.S. wireless phone service targeted to sports fans, via a multi-year agreement with convergys Corporation. convergys will provide its Infinys Rating and Billing software as well as professional and consulting services for ESPN Mobile. ESPN will use Infinys to rate and bill ESPN Mobile, which will be structured as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). more
