Ukraine Operator Offers PC to Mobile Messaging Applications
Ukrainian mobile operator, Kyivstar recently launched a service which enables its subscribers to send SMS and MMS messages to mobile phones from their computer. The comverse Messaging PC Client service is providing the platform, incorporating technology from TeleMessage, which is a provider of cross-platform media messaging management systems and applications. more

Taiwan Mobile Upgrades MMSC Platform
Taiwan Mobile has deployed a replacement MMSC from comverse to upgrade and consolidate its multimedia messaging (MMS) service in Taiwan. Taiwan Mobile recently consolidated its three portfolio operators: Taiwan Cellular Corporation, TransAsia Telecommunications and Mobitai Communications, each of which had its own MMS solution from a different vendor, including one from comverse. more
