Commodore 64 Games Coming to Mobile Phones

Mobile entertainment publisher Kiloo has secured a deal to develop a series of mobile games based on the old 1980's classics originally developed for the Commodore C64 computer. Kiloo and Commodore Gaming will co-publish over twenty classic titles from the hugely influential and widely-loved Commodore 64 back catalogue over the next 36 months. This will be the first time that these gaming favourites become available on the mobile platform. more

Nokia handsets get 80's arcade game classics

A Finnish programmer has created an emulator for Nokia Series 60 handsets (7650, 3650, N-Gage, 6600) that allows it to act like the 1980's home computer, the Commodore 64. Frodo is a Commodore 64 home computer emulator, that was ported from Christian Bauer's original Frodo for Amiga. Porting for Epoc was done by Jal Panvel and Alfred E. Heggestad. Porting to Nokia 9210 and S60 was done by Hannu Viitala. more
