Samsung Licenses AMR Patent

Samsung has joined Nokia and Ericsson and agreed to sign a license for an AMR patent which is currently the subject of several lawsuits. General Patent Corporation International (GPCI), a patent licensing and enforcement firm, announced yesterday on behalf of its client, Digital Technology Licensing (DTL), that it has licensed a cellphone patent to Samsung Electronics.  more

The Strategy Analytics Wireless Media Lab has recently evaluated the portal experience of leading network operator providers in the US and concludes that Sprint has the best in class US operator portal, marginally ahead of Verizon Wireless. Achieving the highest score for Portal Accessibility, Sprint was rated the best portal experience for access and download content, shortest time taken and highest user satisfaction.
