Tata Teleservices Expands Wireless Backhaul Network
Ceragon Networks has received new backhaul hardware orders from India's Tata Teleservices. Tata has already deployed Ceragon's backhaul equipment in three circles following a long-term supply agreement the companies signed in mid-2008. This agreement is now extended, bringing the number of circles to be served by Ceragon equipment to a total of 10, including the Delhi metro area. more

Backhaul Contract for Philippines
Ceragon Networks has announced that Digitel Mobile Philippines (which trades as Sun Cellular) has again chosen to deploy it's wireless solutions for the next stage of their network expansion. This order totaling over US$2 million for products and services follows several successful deployments of Ceragon's wireless backhaul solution for Digitel over the past years for a total amount of US$15 million. Ceragon is providing Digitel Mobile, full turnkey implementation of the network including installation and commissioning, civil works, network planning and comprehensive network management solutions. more

Long Distance Backhaul Contract Awarded
The Pan-African operator, Celtel has awarded a backhaul contract worth US$3 million to Ceragon Networks for services in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Ceragon's solution will enable Celtel Congo to cover large distances with fewer installations significantly reducing infrastructure costs. more

Ceragon Networks and Nokia Sign OEM Agreement
Israel's Ceragon Networks has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Nokia. Under the agreement, Nokia will include Ceragon's high-capacity FibeAir family with its microwave radio product portfolio as Nokia PowerHopper Vario to provide complete cellular transmission networking solutions. This OEM agreement is the outcome of several years of successful integration of Ceragon's SDH radio products into Nokia's global transmission solutions. more
Ceragon wins Danish backbone contract
Ceragon Networks has signed a multi-year contract with Denmark's Sonofon. Commercial deployments of Ceragon's FibeAir systems have already commenced, providing STM-1 connectivity between cellular base stations and the core network infrastructure. Ceragon was selected as the sole supplier of high-capacity wireless backhaul for Sonofon's national cellular network in Denmark. With masts and antennas throughout the country, Sonofon provides cellular geographic coverage for 97% of Denmark. more

Ceragon Networks has been chosen by Svenska UMTS Nat, a 3G infrastructure joint venture between Swedish mobile operators Telia Mobile and Tele2, to supply its FibeAir high-capacity wireless systems. The companies have signed a multi-year frame agreement under which Ceragon will provide Svenska UMTS Nat with its wireless SDH systems for their nationwide 3G network deployment. more
