Nokia Siemens Wins Indonesian Network Contract
Indonesian mobile operator Telkomsel has signed a new frame agreement with Nokia Siemens Networks to "greatly expand" its existing network coverage, boost capacity and improve performance. The deal between Telkomsel and its long term network and services supplier Nokia Siemens Networks, covers the supply, deployment and integration of Wcdma/HSPA radio access networks (RAN) as well as 2G base station sub-system (BSS) and services solutions in the country. more

Nokia Siemens Networks Wins Chinese Contracts Worth $1.1 Billion
China Mobile and China Unicom have separately signed agreements to purchase 2G and 3G mobile equipments and services from Nokia Siemens Networks during 2009. Under the framework agreements Nokia Siemens Networks will roll out Wcdma networks for China Unicom in 11 provinces across China. In addition, it will provide China Mobile with TD-Scdma and GSM networks. more
